As part of their ongoing eco-conscious efforts, Lazar Furniture recently launched a new "Earth Designs" program, bringing the green factor well into focus as a leading program amongst high-end furniture brands.

Lazar focusing on keeping our Earth green by way of Precycling--a method of minimizing total waste by avoiding the introduction of damaging materials which cannot be recycled.  Below is a list of several elements of the Earth Design Program which highlight precycling by Lazar.

• All Earth Design frames are made from FSC rated materials; including reclycled steel, water-based glues, and NO formaldehyde.

• Earth Design cushions are made from 100% recycled foam, 30% of which is soy-based, exclusively with water-based glues.

• Earth Design seating is made from 100% reclycled polyester and steel.

• Earth Design Packaging is made from 100% recycled plastics and cardboards, and water-based glues.

• Earth Design products are also made with 100% recycled tacking, padding, staples and legs, as well as water-based stains and glues, and sealers and lacquers with the lowest V.O.C. content available.
