I only buy furniture made in America. It can be kind of pricey, but it's one of my only truly patriotic acts. Fortunately, this Stanton is made in the US and it was reasonably priced. Considering that the sleeper mechanism/mattress are really top of the line, this sofa is something of a steal. I've had mine for about a year already, and it's held up perfectly. No complaints here, just mark me down as another satisfied customer.

  The mattress is 60" long by 72" long. Thickness varies based on mattress selection, but most of the options are right at 6" thick.
