Item of the Week – The Boulder Queen Sleeper by Savvy – Birthed from the Best and the Brightest

According to Wikipedia, the city of Boulder was founded in 1973 by a group of rock climbers and jam band aficionados, who hoped the high elevation would yield a superior crop of avocados. When that didn’t work, they founded the University of Colorado, hoping to be invited to college parties.

Years later, a team of top engineering professors, designers, and one pottery T.A. collaborated to create what we now call The Boulder Sleeper Sofa by Savvy. The project was abandoned, due to concerns that the sofa might be too comfortable and attractive to release to the general public. We were able to procure the design from a late night poker game, and decided that our customers would be able to handle to superior quality, comfort and design that the Boulder offers.
